2 gunmen on motorcycles targeted a sweet shop in Tilak Nagar, West Delhi & a jewellery store in Mukherjee Nagar, Northwest Delhi within 24 hours. The incidents raised fear of extortion as the shop owner received a Rs 2 crore extortion demand from gangster Kapil Sangwan and the jewellery store received a Rs 1 crore demand. Police suspect the incidents are related to extortion, formed multiple teams to gather information, and increased patrols and surveillance to prevent similar incidents.
