24,000 elderly Singaporeans in 26 precincts will benefit from a new Silver Upgrading Programme (SUP) by 2029, featuring enhancements like gardens, fitness trails, and dementia-friendly elements. Launched by Singapore's Ministry of National Development, the SUP targets seniors living in areas with high senior densities but outside the scope of the Neighbourhood Renewal Programme (NRP). The $600m "Age Well SG" initiative, which includes the SUP, aims to support active aging for seniors across the country.
