Portland Police, in collaboration with ORCA Oregon and Multnomah County DA, conducted a retail theft mission in Jantzen Beach on 23 Aug 2024, leading to multiple arrests, recovery of $1,000 worth of stolen goods, a stolen vehicle, an unlawfully possessed gun, and seven ounces of meth. 18 individuals were arrested or cited. The mission aims to reduce retail theft crimes in impacted neighborhoods.
