On Aug 22, a fatal three-vehicle collision on Arkansas 21 in Carroll County claimed the lives of Berryville residents Matthew Porter, 36, and Carrianne Henry, 49. Porter, attempting to pass a pickup truck, collided with the front of a Chevy pickup, which then spun into the southbound lane, where it was hit by a Freightliner truck. The accident occurred under clear weather and dry road conditions.
