41-year-old special education teacher Beatriz Rapisarda from Sunrise Elementary in Palm Bay, Florida, has been arrested on charges of child abuse and false imprisonment. She is accused of pushing and restraining an intellectually disabled student and using a bathroom as punishment by dragging the student by their arms. This is not the first incident involving the student. Rapisarda has been placed on administrative leave as the investigation continues.
