30-year-old Cody Dailey, a wanted suspect, was shot during a carjacking attempt at a Tazewell County, Virginia convenience store. Dailey attacked a woman and her child, but a good Samaritan intervened and shot Dailey in the chest, leading to his arrest. Dailey was wanted on two outstanding felony capias warrants and is facing additional charges. Local authorities thanked the good Samaritans who aided the victim during the incident.
