Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced a Centre of Excellence in Mumbai to provide skill development training for 10,000 youth over 3 years, expected to be operational in 6-8 months via a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The centre, covering 1 lakh sq. ft in Borivali, aims to be a model private-public partnership venture. During his visit, Goyal inaugurated a mural and ceremonially opened PLASTINDIA 2026, an event showcasing plastics industry innovations.
