1,450 targets under investigation by Ireland's Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) since May 2023, with Dublin Metropolitan Region West having the highest number of targets. CAB, established in 1996, has recovered over €210m for the state, with 20 search operations conducted this year, expected to double by year-end. Investigations span from murderous feuds to Revenue breaches and Social Protection overpayments.
