Storm Lilian, named by the UK Met Office, is set to bring strong winds and rain to Ireland overnight, prompting weather warnings for much of the country including counties Clare, Galway, Roscommon, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, and Westmeath. The storm may cause localized flooding, difficult travel conditions, power outages, fallen trees, and coastal flooding. Met Éireann has also issued mixed weather forecasts for the coming days, with a mix of sunny spells and showers, some of which may be heavy, and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms and hail.
