Nevada DOT has completed first repaving of US395 in Gardnville in 20 years, resulting in two lanes opened in each direction. The project involved resurfacing, reconstruction, adding electronic flashing pedestrian crossing signs, enhanced lighting, improved storm drainage, and ADA accessibility enhancements. Finishing work and additional improvements, such as sidewalk and accessibility upgrades, are planned for future phases. The project aims to enhance safety and accessibility for the 20,000 daily drivers and pedestrians.
