National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has ordered the production of PTI MNA Haji Imtiaz Ahmad Chaudhry for the upcoming assembly session on 26 August. The order follows concerns raised by PTI over Chaudhry's arrest by Punjab police without prior approval from the speaker. The speaker emphasized that Chaudhry's presence is necessary for the session and instructed the director general of Punjab's Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) to bring Chaudhry to each assembly sitting. Chaudhry, an MNA elected in 2018, was arrested on July 24 in connection with a graft case.
