Malaysia begins exporting fresh durians to China from 24 August, using air cargo.

Malaysia starts exporting fresh durians to China from 24 August, with 40 metric tons sent in three phases, using air cargo to reach major cities like Beijing and Shanghai within 24 hours. This is a shift from the previous export of whole frozen durians, which began in 2019. The move comes after the signing of the Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements for the Export of Fresh Durian from Malaysia to China in June.
