Judge denies second request to lower bond for Julie Miller charged with felony child neglect, after prosecutor cites strengthened case with autopsy report confirming death due to malnourishment.

Boone County Circuit Judge Stacy Nowicki-Eldridge denied a second request to lower Julie Miller's $250,000 cash-only bond, charged with felony child neglect resulting in the death of her 14-year-old daughter Kyneddi Miller. Prosecutor Dan Holstein argued that the bond should remain high as the state's case has strengthened with the completion of an autopsy report confirming Kyneddi's death was due to prolonged malnourishment. Judge Nowicki-Eldridge also denied the request for Miller to have contact with her parents after she violated a court order regarding phone calls with them.
