Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the Arkansas Department of Human Services awarded $15 million in grants, including a $3 million grant to Arisa Health, to improve infrastructure and support for individuals with substance use disorders, mental illnesses, or intellectual disabilities. The grants will fund initiatives such as a 16-bed therapeutic community for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health issues. The funding aims to create a continuity of care for Arkansans.
