El Paso Fire Department conducted a rescue at a canal intersection on August 24th with no injuries.

El Paso Fire Department rescued a person in distress from a canal near Cesar Chavez Border Highway and Fonseca intersection in South-Central El Paso on August 24th at 4:30 a.m. The location has seen numerous water rescue operations this year. No injuries were reported, and a similar search-and-rescue operation involving Sunland Park Fire and Border Patrol took place the previous day, where six individuals were rescued and others remained unlocated.
