After the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government in Bangladesh, Dhaka's ancient Dhakeswari Temple, a symbol of religious and communal harmony, was protected by local community members of various religions during anti-government protests. Since then, the temple has remained open to visitors from different faiths, with no untoward incidents reported. Police personnel have been deployed to ensure the temple's safety.
