39-year-old Kenneth Hardin Jr. was arrested in Covington, Louisiana for allegedly murdering his wife, Carrie Hardin, in Fayetteville, Georgia. Carrie's body was discovered in a shallow grave behind the couple's home with signs of gunshot wounds. Hardin confessed to his father that he killed his wife in self-defense, burned her body, and was leaving town. He was apprehended by a SWAT team at a motel in Covington and is currently being held at the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center as a fugitive from justice, awaiting extradition back to Georgia to face charges in Carrie's murder.
