64-year-old Julie Louise Myhre-Schnell, wife of Minnesota Department of Corrections Commissioner Paul Schnell, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder for allegedly putting anxiety medication in her vulnerable adult son's feeding bag. Myhre-Schnell admitted to her actions, hoping her son would "go to sleep forever." She faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison if convicted.
