3-year-old injured in dog attack in northeast Charlotte; child playing in front yard when 3 family-owned dogs escaped from garage, 2 knocked child down, 3rd bit and dragged. Adults tried to stop attack, firing gunshots near dog; child taken to hospital with serious injuries. Attacking dog surrendered to Animal Care and Control for 10-day rabies quarantine, then euthanized.
