22-year-old dump truck driver from Comstock Park lost control & crashed on US-131 S near Mile Marker 40 in Oshtemo Township, MI, on Aug 22. While attempting to pass another car, the truck hit an unoccupied parked vehicle, crossed a guardrail, and ended up in a ditch. The driver was uninjured, wearing a seatbelt, and was cited for improper lane use. Authorities ruled out drug or alcohol involvement and the road was closed for nearly five hours.
