Inspired Pet Nutrition (IPN), a UK pet food company backed by private equity firm CapVest, acquires Butcher's Pet Care, boosting combined sales to £350m, with the deal expected to close in Q4. Butcher's Pet Care is a leading UK manufacturer of wet food for dogs and cats, operating a 385,000 sq ft facility in Crick, Northamptonshire. Arthur van Benthem, with experience in growing international businesses, has been appointed CEO of the merged group.
