UK DWP & HMRC made early Universal Credit, PIP, & other benefit payments due to bank holiday.
The UK's Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) made early benefit payments on August 23 for recipients of Universal Credit, Personal Independence Payment (PIP), and other benefits, due to the August 26 bank holiday. Payments affected included Attendance Allowance, Carer's Allowance, Employment Support Allowance, Income Support, Jobseeker's Allowance, Maternity Allowance, Pension Credit, State Pension, Working Tax Credit, and other benefits. The DWP will revert to the normal payment schedule after the bank holiday weekend.
