Singapore's core inflation rate in July 2022 dropped to 2.5% year-on-year, the lowest since February 2022, with headline inflation remaining steady at 2.4%. Core inflation, which excludes accommodation and private transport, decreased from 2.9% in June. The Monetary Authority of Singapore and Ministry of Trade and Industry predict core inflation to ease further in the final quarter of the year, averaging between 2.5% and 3.5% for the year.
