Singapore implements temperature and visual screening measures at airports and sea checkpoints to prevent the spread of monkeypox. Starting from August 23, the Ministry of Health (MOH) screens inbound travelers and crew members from affected countries. Travelers must declare any monkeypox-related symptoms and travel history before arrival in Singapore. All those exhibiting fever, rash, or monkeypox-compatible symptoms will be referred for medical assessment. As of August 22, Singapore has confirmed 13 monkeypox cases this year.
