Propane tank fire at Sac and Fox Casino, controlled by firefighters from six departments, no injuries or damage.
On 21 Aug, a propane tank blaze occurred at Sac and Fox Casino in Brown County. Firefighters from six departments, including Sabetha, Fairview, Powhatan, Kickapoo Tribe, Wetmore, and Horton, responded to the large fire at the casino on US-75 Highway. The firefighters controlled the fire, shut off the gas, and cooled the tank with water until residual gas burned off. No injuries or property damage were reported.
