Lionsgate has removed the trailer for director Francis Ford Coppola's film "Megalopolis" after discovering that some of the critic quotes featured in it were fabricated. The trailer, which gained over 1.3 million views, was found to contain quotes from critics like Pauline Kael, Vincent Canby, and Roger Ebert that did not appear in their original reviews of Coppola's previous films. Lionsgate apologized to the critics involved, Coppola, and his production company, American Zoetrope, and has recalled the trailer.
