The Carolina Panthers acquire CB Michael Jackson from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for rookie LB Michael Barrett. Jackson, a significant contributor to Seattle over the past two seasons, will provide additional secondary depth for Carolina as starting cornerback Dane Jackson is out for six weeks due to injury. Barrett, a seventh-round pick by the Panthers, has previous experience playing under Seattle's coach Mike Macdonald at Michigan.
