4.6 billion US soybean crop predicted for 2024/25, USSEC hosts Global U.S. Soy Summit to promote sustainability and efficiency benefits.

4.6 billion bushels of soybeans are predicted for the 2024/25 US crop, with supply estimates rising 11% from the previous year. To promote US soy's value and sustainability, the US Soybean Export Council (USSEC) hosted the Global U.S. Soy Summit (Soy Connext) in San Francisco. The event gathered representatives from 62 countries, highlighting US soy's efficiency benefits for livestock farms, feed mills, and oil crushers, as well as its lower carbon footprint. USSEC has developed the Sustainable U.S. Soy (SUSS) label to promote products verified by their US Soy Sustainability Assurance Protocol (SSAP), now featuring on over 1,000 products globally.
