Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia receive approval for a new codeshare agreement, allowing Virgin Australia customers to directly book Air NZ flights to Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, complementing Virgin's Queenstown services. The partnership also enables Velocity members to earn and redeem points, with lounge access for eligible members and guests. The resumed partnership aims to provide greater value, choice, and loyalty rewards for travelers between Australia and New Zealand.
