32-year-old Zebbie Thomas from Hiram was arrested in Augusta, Maine, after a pursuit and standoff resulting from a reported domestic violence incident. Thomas, on probation and with two outstanding warrants, was not allowed to be in contact with the victim. The police chase, which went through Winthrop, Monmouth, and Wales, was halted due to safety concerns. Later, Thomas was found at a residence in Augusta, the victim escaped safely, and Thomas was taken to Kennebec County Jail.
