47-year-old Marko Torenius promoted as Vancouver Canucks' new goaltending coach, replacing Ian Clark.
The Vancouver Canucks have promoted Marko Torenius from goalie coach for their AHL affiliate to their NHL team's new goaltending coach. Ian Clark, who previously held both the goalie coaching position and director of goaltending, will take on a reduced role as a goalie scout and development coach. Torenius, a 47-year-old Finn with experience in the KHL and AHL, replaces Clark who has been with the Canucks for over 15 years.
