24-year-old bus conductor Terence Mavheneke received a one-year prison sentence (5 months suspended for 5 years) for stealing a $550 Samsung Note 20 Ultra from Christabella Makwanya, a victim in a fatal accident on Seke Road. The accident involved two omnibuses, resulting in Makwanya's death. Mavheneke, who was at the scene assisting, took the phone; it was later discovered in Chitungwiza, implicating him.
