UK company Serco secures £250m ($334m) contract for modernising backup electrical plant at US Space Force's Pituffik Space Base in Greenland, supporting missions in missile warning, missile defense, and space surveillance. The project to upgrade the base's backup electrical plant, awarded by the US Army Corps of Engineers, will last four years. This adds to Serco's capabilities in systems design and installation, and contributes to the mission-critical upgrade project for the US Space Force and Army Corps of Engineers.
