RTÉ's Director of Content, Jim Jennings, is leaving the national broadcaster after nearly 40 years, with the terms of his departure agreed upon with the support of the Workplace Relations Commission. His departure coincides with RTÉ redefining its audio and visual briefs as part of its new strategy. Jennings has held various roles at RTÉ, including head of RTÉ Radio 1, since joining as a researcher in 1985.
