6 people, including 3 children, were injured in a collision at the intersection of Highway 21 in Monroe County, Wisconsin on August 20th. A Jeep Wrangler, driven by Kory Phillips (32), failed to yield the right of way while turning from County Highway N onto Highway 21, causing a collision with an eastbound GMC Acadia, driven by Tammy Stanley (31). The Jeep overturned in the eastbound lane. The Jeep driver and GMC driver, along with a male passenger in the GMC, suffered serious injuries. Three children in the GMC had minor injuries, and two other children in the vehicle were unharmed. The eastbound lane was closed for 45 minutes while emergency crews were present at the scene.
