MIT's Black, Hispanic, Native American, and Pacific Islander student enrollment decreased to 16% after the US Supreme Court's race-based admissions ban.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) reports a decrease in Black, Hispanic, Native American, and Pacific Islander students enrollment to 16% following the US Supreme Court's ban on colleges using race as a factor in admissions. The proportion of Asian American students rose to 47%, while white student enrollment remained relatively stable. MIT plans to address the issue by investing in expanding access to science and math education for young students across the country and better advertising its financial aid.
