George Taylor Jr., former owner of TRU Colors and National Speed, pleaded guilty to tax crimes for not paying over $2 million in employment taxes and failing to file returns. Taylor withheld Social Security, Medicare, and income taxes from employees (2014-2021) but did not pay the withholdings to the IRS. He faces a max 5-year prison term, supervised release, restitution, and monetary penalties at his Nov. 19th sentencing.
