Evansville Goodwill opened a new store in the Washington Square Mall, formerly Sears, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug 24. The store, part of organization's 14 locations across three states, supports community programs and includes The Excel Center, a free adult high school offering a second chance for an Indiana Core 40 diploma. A portion of the store's profits funds Goodwill's educational and work mission.
