Canada's CUPE union called for National Vice-President Fred Hahn's resignation over an antisemitic social media post.

Canada's Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) passed a motion calling for the resignation of National Vice-President Fred Hahn due to a social media post that sparked allegations of antisemitism. Hahn shared a video depicting a diver with a Star of David who appears to drop a bomb on civilians. Premier Doug Ford described the post as "bigoted" and called for Hahn's resignation. The post prompted dozens of CUPE members to file a human rights complaint against the union for promoting antisemitism and systemic discrimination.
