7 Calgary coworkers won a $5m Lotto 6-49 prize, matching numbers 6, 7, 30, 33, 35, 39 in the June 29 draw. The group has purchased tickets together for 6 years, & plans to split the winnings. They bought the winning ticket at a 7-Eleven on Crowchild Trail N.W. Meanwhile, a group of 15 colleagues from Vancouver's Foy's Irish Bar won $1m in the August 16 Lotto Max draw, with the winning ticket bought at a Circle-K. The mostly Irish employees plan to celebrate & may continue playing together.
