Blockchain startup Story, which helps creators protect intellectual property (IP), has raised $80m in a funding round, valuing the company at $2.25bn. The firm's blockchain technology enables creators to prove they made a piece of content and are the IP owners, helping to prevent copyright theft from AI models. Story charges a network fee for actions on its network. The platform plans to launch commercially later this year, with partners including fashion design tool Ablo, Japanese comic platform Sekai, and art collaboration startup Magma.
