The Appalachian Hydrogen Hub project in West Virginia receives $30m for its first phase, aiming to produce 1,500 tons of hydrogen and create 21,000 jobs.

The Appalachian Hydrogen Hub (ARCH2) project in West Virginia received $30m from the US Dept. of Energy for its first phase, which aims to produce 1,500 tons of hydrogen from natural gas and other feedstocks. ARCH2, one of seven regional hydrogen hubs, is expected to create 18,000 construction jobs and 3,000 permanent positions and contribute to the US becoming a leading hydrogen producer and exporter.
