24-year-old William Alexander Clippingdale faces second-degree murder charges for the fatal stabbing of 47-year-old Jason Richard Gill in Surrey, BC on July 23. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) initially did not know the parties' relationship but later determined they were known to each other. The incident was deemed isolated. Clippingdale's next court appearance is scheduled for September 11.
