57-year-old Sophie Watson was found dead in her Magherafelt home with multiple stab wounds on Sunday. A 43-year-old man has been charged with her murder and is scheduled to appear at Londonderry Magistrates' Court. The PSNI's Major Investigation Team is continuing their enquiries, and have requested anyone with information to contact them or Crimestoppers anonymously.
