35-year-old Australian music festival Bluesfest to conclude in 2025 with final edition featuring Crowded House as headliner.

35-year-old Australian music festival Bluesfest will conclude in 2025 with a final edition featuring Crowded House as its headliner. Scheduled for the Easter long weekend on farmland north of Byron Bay, the festival has hosted legends such as BB King, Bob Dylan, and Paul Simon, but has experienced a decline in ticket sales due to rising costs for hosting live music events, extreme weather events, and the cost of living crisis. The event's founder, Peter Noble, expressed gratitude for the support received from the music community and vowed to make the final Bluesfest "one for the ages."
