40-year-old Amazon delivery driver killed in Leeds during thief's van theft, murder inquiry launched.
A murder inquiry has been launched in Leeds after an Amazon delivery driver was killed while attempting to stop a thief from stealing his van. The 40-year-old victim was found seriously injured after returning to his van and discovering a male thief attempting to steal it. The van was driven away at speed with the victim partly hanging out of the passenger door, resulting in a collision with two parked cars. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and a manhunt and murder investigation have been launched by West Yorkshire Police.
