34-year-old Geelong Irish premiership star, Zach Tuohy, has announced his retirement from AFL at the end of the season, having played over 280 games with Geelong and Carlton. Tuohy, the league's Irish games record holder, will retire after winning the 2022 premiership with Geelong, alongside fellow Irish player Mark O'Connor. Meanwhile, Sam Naismith, 32, also retires after suffering career-ending ACL injuries.
