Sineng Electric, a global energy storage provider, has been chosen to supply its turnkey stations for the world's largest sodium-ion battery energy storage project, an ambitious 100MW/200MWh initiative in Hubei Province, China. The initial 50MW/100MWh phase has been connected to the grid and is now operational, marking a significant milestone in China's transition to diversified energy storage solutions. The project, consisting of 42 battery energy storage system containers, 185Ah sodium-ion batteries, 21 power conversion system units, and a 110kV booster station, demonstrates the feasibility and advantages of alternative energy storage systems, paving the way for their extensive adoption worldwide.
