A Charles Schwab survey revealed the perceived net worth required to be wealthy: $2.5m nationally by 2024, $2.8m for Boomers, and $1.2m for Gen Z. In 12 major US cities, San Francisco required $4.4m, with other cities ranging from $2.2m to $2.9m.
