Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Chechnya for the first time in nearly 13 years, marking his first trip since the start of Ukraine's cross-border incursion. Putin praised volunteer fighters from the special forces academy in Chechnya as "invincible" and met with Chechnya's leader, Ramzan Kadyrov. Kadyrov announced that Chechnya has "tens of thousands" of reservists ready to fight Ukrainians.
